Kitab-ul-Hind is one of the six major Arabic writings (among other sources) that detail the history and geography, as well as events and incidents that occurred in the countries of Arabia, India, Persia and others. This work, which describes travels from Egypt to India, is still considered the most famous among Arabic works.
